KNOSKE'S Music Store Thanksgiving Record Menu

November 29, 1906 "Menu Records"

By Doug Boilesen

The Edison Phonograph Monthly, January 1907 published "A Thanksgiving Menu" in their January 1906 trade magazine which they called "a most interesting piece of printed matter." Originated by the Buffalo Phonograph Company, Buffalo, New York, the following menu for November 29, 1906 featured Thanksgiving menu items and an Edison Record thematically related to each menu option.

This page features every record on the menu per its Edison record number, except two which have been substituted with Victor Records for the same title.

All of the following 2-minute Edison Gold Moulded Cylinder Records can be listened to and are courtesy of i78s.org and David Giovannoni Collection, unless otherwise noted.
