          The Dougherty 
            Museum has a small collection of musical instruments including 
            phonographs, pianos, organs, radios and music boxes but the museum 
            features automobiles, farm equipment and coaches.  
          The museum was opened to the public 
            in 1977 and is based on the collection of Ray G. Dougherty whose family, 
            after his death, organized it as a 501 (c)3 private operating foundation.
